What does “IYQ” mean?

It means “I Like You”—and that’s just the beginning.

Brother Ray has used this message for over 30 years to help share God’s love.
He puts “IYQ” on shirts, patches, and stickers. When someone asks what it means, you say:

“Say the letters out loud: I... Y... Q.”
Then smile and say:
“IYQ U 2 – and GOD LOVES U!”
(That means, “I like you too, and God loves you!”)

This shirt is a fun and friendly way to talk about Jesus. It helps start real conversations without pressure.

Each Color Tells the Story of Jesus

This shirt doesn’t just say something—it shows something. The colors on the letters are based on a very old way to tell the Gospel called the Wordless Book. Each color has a meaning from the Bible:

• Gold “I” – God’s love and Heaven (Revelation 21:18, John 3:16)

• Black “Y” – Our sin and how it separates us from God (Romans 3:23, 6:23)

• Red “Q” – Jesus’ blood, given for us (Romans 5:8, 1 John 1:7)

• White Shirt – A clean heart when we’re forgiven (Psalm 51:7, Isaiah 1:18)

• Green Shadow – Growing in faith (2 Peter 3:18, Colossians 1:10)
